This is the first pneumatic (air) cannon that I have built. It was constructed from parts that we already had in stock at my Grand-fathers business, where we shoot my guns. The design is simple and took only 15 minutes to put it all together. Construction is easy. Just wrap all the fittings in Teflon tape and screw them together.

This gun is powered by the 120 PSI compressor lines that are run through out the building. Because the gun is hooked directly to the compressor, and there is constantly pressure in the lines, a tank is not required.   However, we did cut the hose off of an old refillable Fire Extinguisher (The kind you fill with water and the pressure it up to 200 PSI), and it makes a nice tank.

This gun has a very basic design, and gives very poor performance. It only shoots the potato about 75 feet, as compared to the 100 yard shots with  my combustion gun. If any one has some tips or improvements for this gun please send them to: jason_2626@hotmail.com.
